Write Your Way Out of Pain
This is a grief/loss journaling support group open to anyone who is interested in either addressing his/her own grief/loss or helping a loved one who is going through grief/loss.

We experience grief/loss in many ways, including but not limited to the death of a loved one (pet included), divorce, chronic health problems, and loss of employment.  Research has shown that writing about your traumatic experiences have significant mental and physical health benefits.  In a supportive and safe environment, we will learn how to tap into this seemingly simple yet powerful tool and experience its transformative power.  No writing experience necessary.  You don't even need to know how to spell!  Just bring a pen and a notebook.  A sense of humor also helps.

Please call or email me for more information.
“I was deep in my personal pit of grief—and though I know there will always be pain associated with the loss of my loved one, I know there is a future to “live in” as well.   I’m progressing.”

“I like the openness that we have all achieved.  It helps so much to see that others not only have their own pain—but are willing to share yours.  It's the support of the leader, the individual members, and the corporate-ness of the group that have meant the most to me.”

“I feel I have learned a lot about myself and that you never walk alone as many people feel they do when grieving.”

Share the Journey.
